Manima – Der Laote in Dusseldorf

Great cocktails, delicious food (whether larb, duck etc.) and the best crew ever !!! Manima is always worth a visit!

Everything was fine, but for me there was nothing much more special than typical Asian food that you can have elsewhere at cheaper prices.

We ordered 2 dishes. A curry and 1 × ork. Unfortunately, the second didn't convince us in terms of taste. Maybe also a matter of taste. However, the rice that came with the meal tasted very poor.

Outstanding restaurant. Top quality both the food and the cocktails. Super friendly, open-minded, professional staff who are on the ball and really respond individually to each guest, if you want and allow.

We were here for the first and last time. The fish was delicious. The other dish in ginger sauce didn't taste a bit like ginger. When we made the operator aware that there was almost no ginger in the dish, she repeatedly pointed her finger at the bamboo sprouts in the dish. Although she almost touched the food with her finger and claimed that it was all ginger. When we said no, she said "and what should I do now". This is an absolute no go. We have never seen anything like it. What a cheeky waitress ...

There were three of us there. Appetizer platter offers a decent size and wide selection. Larb with chicken or beef are recommended. Really large portions and a typical Laotian intense taste. So far, staff was very friendly with every visit. Would recommend a reservation in the evening

By chance we discovered this beautiful restaurant. A nice specialty restaurant with a large selection of Lao dishes. Friendly staff with great food. We also strongly recommend a visit here!

Tried twice this restaurant since it's really close to me. Overpriced and both times ended up disappointed with the food. There will not be a third time.

Very good Laotian cuisine. Generous delicious appetizer plate. Young, dynamic team that was very attentive and courteous. Cozy, informal atmosphere. Sometimes there is even Beerlao, which is very difficult to get in Germany. Overall highly recommended!

I join the rest of the commentators, but what to add? Everything is just wonderful - a good homely atmosphere and excellent service. It is worth warning that some dishes, although absolutely delicious, can be spicy ? In short, there is no need for more culinary happiness, is it? ?

I really like this place. Spicy food, fast service and a pleasant interior. I very recommend if you like asian food.

The place was cozy. Like coming home. Warm atmosphere. Food was good. In my soup was more noodles then anything else. Recommended fit vegans

Very goof food!

We chose Manima by chance because we wanted something Asian but didn't want to eat typical Chinese. We had a starter plate, 2 main courses and shared a baked ice cream. Absolutely delicious. If you are not often spicy, the first level of spiciness is sufficient for the main course! Service is quick and super friendly. Reservation necessary!

Great food and great atmosphere although they don't have menus in English, the staff speaks English and help you decide. Very nice place.

Delicious Laotian food. Best place in Düsseldorf for some spicy food (real spicy not German spicy). Great curry. And the deep fried ice cream is the best!

Unfriendly waitress, tiny food portions either way too spicy or tasteless, expensive cocktails and ingredients wrongly described. On top: waitress could not split bill, complained loudly about that fact and then mixed up the separate bills charging us extra... it's ok when you're alone and don't care about food quality and just want to eat. For a nice night out I recommend staying far away from this place
